TL;DR: I previously overfit my trading by applying filters until only small groups of historical winners remained. I have now stripped the deployment back to two mostly raw trend algorithms based on liquidation and momentum data. I researched roughly 100 signal generators, many of which were AI-assisted combinations of conventional technical indicators. Around half produced genuine live alerts, while the other half were retrospectively generated research results. The algorithm that consistently ranked highest was not one of the AI-generated indicator strategies. It was my own liquidity-hunting algorithm, which I had created and run before conducting the wider comparison."
