Pulled the top 20 by market cap from Jan 2018 and Nov 2021 and checked how many ever reclaimed their cycle high. It's a short list both times, and most of the names people were certain about are either gone or down 90%+ in BTC terms. Not an argument for BTC only, just that "it'll come back next cycle" has a worse historical base rate than most people assume, curious if anyone's run this properly with data???"
