I am writing this post to raise awareness about how Kraken is handling legitimate users and censoring support requests on Reddit. On September 16, 2026, my account was hit with an automated 90-day crypto withdrawal restriction after I attempted to send USDC for a private peer-to-peer purchase (buying physical Pokémon cards and legal dietary supplements / creatine from an individual)[1]. Because this was an informal P2P deal between private individuals, there are no commercial tax invoices, but it was a 100% genuine transaction authorized by me. Despite this, Kraken's automated risk filters flagged the transfer and locked my crypto withdrawals for 3 months[1]."
