Design write-up, not a pitch. Dafarus here. Disclosure: I built it and I take a 0.15% fee on the ETH side. Athanor's ETH-XMR atomic swap (ChainSafe, 2023, archived this month) verified the revealed secret against a secp256k1 point, then needed a cross-curve discrete-log-equality proof to tie that point to the ed25519 key the Monero side actually uses. Sensible on mainnet: an ed25519 scalar multiply in the EVM is around 600k gas. On Base that's about a cent. So the contract does the ed25519 multiply itself:"
