Since March I've put around 140k thought crypto CFDs, mostly leverage, now i'm down to 6k - I keep telling myself I'm trading BTC price cycles, on-chain signals n funding rates, but really i've been gambling w extra zeros since leverage made it feel like skill... It started fine: I caught the move off t he March low, took profit too early and got annoyed, decided the next dip was mine - every time i saw a red position I added, so the "It's a CFD, I'm not risking actual coins, the cycle comes back anyway" became my whole personality for like 4 months. I was on Libertex then, prolly because of the zero-swap on spot BTC CFDs, figured that meant I could sit thru consolidation cheaper than holding on margin elsewhere, but it turns out zero swap doesn't matter much when u r 5x leveraged and the thing drops 12% in a day and you double down instead of closing. Also had eToro for a while, mostly copy trading nonsense I never used, I figured the tool was never the problem, actually it was me who couldn't accept being wrong on a trade, so i just stuck in the cycle for 3 months straight..."
