Got tired of it and built the thing I actually wanted: coingmi.com, basically a CoinMarketCap style list, but the whole top 1000 on one page. You still scroll a bit obviously, but it's one dense list and imo loads very fast. Data is collected from the CoinGecko API. Since I was storing a snapshot every day anyway, I added a timeline bar at the bottom, and it ended up being the most fun feature. Drag it back a year and press play, and you can watch the top 100 shuffle itself into today's board. Coins you forgot about sliding down, random new stuff appearing halfway through.
