It’s a scam- Just as I suspected. I wanted to post this since there isn’t much information about this scam online. People need to know and since I’m directly affected by this , I wanna share my story and hopefully save others from getting scam in the future. The website goes by yepbit, yepbita.com, or similar variants. It is ran by a guy who goes by Johnathan Brook(Professor Brook). In the beginning, he didn’t show his face but about a year later, he is seen as an older white gentleman but it’s probably fake like everything else in this scheme. The scheme consists of three entities: the yepbit platform, the professor whom runs FCIG(fidelity capital investment group), and the investors. They try to convince you that these three entities are separate and independent of each other but yepbit and fcig are connected and are controlled by the professor.
The scheme requires you (the investor) to invest a small amount of money ($500 to $3000) into the yepbit platform which is a cryptocurrency trading platform and the investor would get a code to enter into the yepbit platform which executes a crypto trade and the investor would profit 50% of their investment of (1% of acct value). Ex: $1000 acct value would bet $10 and you win $5 per trade. Each investor get 2 trades by default and can earn more trades a day by inviting new members. It doesn’t seem a lot but as the amount compounds itself, your balance will grow exponentially over time. Investors can also earn bonuses through inviting people."
