I was watching an interview that folding ideas did about his two-hour long takedown video of Bitcoin. And he mentioned that a core part of the strategy about Bitcoin was that the people who are in it can brag that they got in early. His counterpoint is that it does nothing for people who were born too late. But if you think about it, the obsession with being early is almost an admission that bitcoin and by extension all of the rest of cryptocurrency is a scam. They claim to want to take over the financial system, but have no serious plan to address currency shortage. A ubiquitous currency by definition should be everywhere."
