Pulled up ETH/BTC and SOL/BTC weeklies out of boredom last night and both are straight up below their 2022 capitulation lows, not close to it, below it, while BTC's printing ATHs alongside the S&P and Nasdaq, so nobody can blame macro or "risk off" for the alt bleed this time. Been holding a small alt bag since 2021 waiting on the rotation everyone promised, and at some point waiting turns into denial; checked the same pairs on eToro just to rule out a data issue and the charts matched exactly. Ended up moving most of it into a straight BTC CFD position on Libertex instead, partly bc the zero swap on the spot BTC product meant I wasn't bleeding funding just to sit through chop, but that's not really the point. Real question is whether alt season was ever an actual cycle mechanic or just a 2017/2021 fluke that liquidity's permanently moved past. It broke, and IMO it's not coming back the way ppl expect."
