It really sucks to see so many posts about folk loosing assets on the recent coldcard exploit. There are two things you can do to increase (but not guarantee) your chance of asset recovery.
Report it to the police
Report it on chainabuse.com
Why report it on chainabuse? Because this data gets shared with law enforcement and crucially, many of the main exchanges that folks use can also see this data. So if a bad actor tries to sell your stolen assets, if you’ve reported them stolen on chainabuse, there is a chance (not a guarantee) that they could be frozen or the other compliance flags are raised with the exchange."
