"They want trust. They want security. There is literally no network in the world that has higher economic security and finality than Ethereum." [Spoken audio]: How do you think of the competitive landscape? Canton, obviously, has been part of this cycle's zeitgeist as the institutional darling, so to speak. When you have conversations with institutions, I'm sure that name's coming up. Hyperliquid, I'm sure, is coming up. How do you juxtapose the value proposition of Ethereum relative to some of these other names? Sure. So I am going to do something that very few people in crypto do. I'm not going to fud anyone. I want to be super optimistic and hear me out. There is room for many chains because there's going to be different use cases. I have a very strong view that if you look over the next several years, if you are shifting the infrastructure of all of finance, there are three characteristics that banks want and insurance companies want and pension companies want and asset management. I don't know a lot in life but having spent 20 years at BlackRock, I know they don't make decisions slowly. They want trust. They want to know that when they're building on a new platform, no one can change the rules and you don't have centralized government. They want security, like there is literally no network in the world that has higher economic security and finality than Ethereum. It just absolutely does, has the most clients in the most countries, the most validators. to give you a sense, I think there's over 950,000 Ethereum validators under 800 for Solana. And the third thing is, and this may be once you hit the first two is the most important is where's the liquidity. So like if the three primitives are stable coins, tokenized real-world assets and DeFi, over 50% of each are happening in the Ethereum ecosystem." --- ## Contributing Accounts - `@Clarissa_Krypto` (https://x.com/Clarissa_Krypto)
