I've been pro ossification pre-segwit and I have somewhat controversial opinion that Bitcoin would be just as valuable as it is today if segwit had never been incorporated into the protocol. Certainly there are some benefits to having the protocol improve your certain technological benefits and improvements to privacy which are great but on the other hand the core value proposition in my mind with bitcoin is that it's an immutable protocol for value transfer and if it ever becomes possible or you know there's some low probability that bitcoin could be changed for whatever reason there's no longer backward compatible then I think the value proposition of Bitcoin is tremendously harmed. In terms of ossification, I would say I'm an ossification maximalist. I have been pro ossification for a very long time.
