I've invested crypto almost a year and recently looked for projects outside of BTC, ETH and XRP. Chainlink caught my attention again.
I knew the name in some articles and saw its chart on bydfi before, but I did not realize Chainlink has been around since 2017. I did some research and know the basic idea makes sense to me. Smart contracts need outside data, so Chainlink is one of the main oracle netyworks used for things like DeFi price feeds. I also saw they are working on CCIP for cross-chain messaging and token transfers, which sounds more serious than a lot of random altcoins.
But I barely see people talking about LINK in crypto subs now. Maybe I missed the active places, but it feels respected more than hyped.
For people who have held LINK in long term, how do you think about it today? Is it still worth invest it in 2026?"
