It was the explanation of why reported trading volume doesn't always tell the full story. Tushar Jain breaks down why Multicoin pays closer attention to open interest when evaluating [Spoken audio]: Volume is an easily gained number. We've seen other purposes, obviously gain volume. You can see that when they have tons of volume and no open interest or no liquidations, which tells you that that's just market makers kind of trading with each other without anyone taking directional risk on that platform. We've seen that game before. Hyperliquid is at 30% of volume, which is the most easily gained metric, but it was currently at 59% of open interest. And I think that's a better marker for what long-term market share looks like. Because that is harder to fake. That requires real capital to be on there. So I think this one is a pretty conservative assumption because I think the volume, the fake volume games don't last very long. We've seen this movie before where people subsidize the volume. They give you points or whatever in order to get you to trade, But you can't give people rewards to trade forever and build a sustainable business. It doesn't work. So as those things start, as those programs start to wane, I expect hyperliquids market share to actually increase from here amongst the perp taxes, but we held it steady in our model." ### Post #3 by @minamiumm > **Author:** [@minamiumm](https://x.com/minamiumm) > **Metrics:** 0 likes · 0 retweets · 3 comments · 187 views > **Source Link:** [https://x.com/minamiumm/status/2076618606188835251](https://x.com/minamiumm/status/2076618606188835251) > **Visual Context:** A candlestick chart on a dark background for the token GMGN on GATE.IO, showing a dramatic price spike to around $107,648 with a watermark 'GMGN.AI'. > > "$滑る猫 this one draws from the slippery cat meme thats popping up all over with cats sliding around in the funniest ways and its turning into a whole vibe people cant stop sharing. the narrative is building quick and it feels fresh on robinhood. still early imo. dyor manage" ### Post #4 by @PendleIntern > **Author:** [@PendleIntern](https://x.com/PendleIntern) > **Metrics:** 8 likes · 1 retweets · 2 comments · 1.3K views > **Source Link:** [https://x.com/PendleIntern/status/2076572048835674141](https://x.com/PendleIntern/status/2076572048835674141) > **Visual Context:** The image displays a chart tracking the implied yield of LP TVL and Floating TVL from 03-09 to 07-06, with LP TVL (solid line) ranging from approximately 5% to 7.5% and Floating TVL (dashed line) staying near 3.67-3.81%, visually demonstrating how Pendle's T-Bill-backed Principal Tokens consistently outperformed standard T-Bill yields, peaking above 7.4% while underlying T-Bills hovered around 3.7-3.8%. > > "Since 2026 Q1, T-Bills have ranged between 3.67-3.81% APY.
