All your chats and your entire network move along with it." @ODELLXYZ and @MartyBent on Radar Chat. [Spoken audio]: Speaking of staying humble and stacking sats, you can now do this via radar.chat, which launched a couple of days ago, brought to you by the team from Cake Wallet. Shout out to Seth for privacy and Vic and the others who are working on that infrastructure. And this is a private messaging app with self custodial Bitcoin Lightning, basically a fork of signal. Yeah, specifically it's a fork of signal. So it works exactly like your normal signal app would work. In fact, it even replaces your signal app. So if you move from signal to this app, your existing signal app will no longer work, but all your chats and your entire network will move along with it. That was by design. Signal has 100 million users. So they wanted to piggyback off that network effect. And then they integrated a Bitcoin and while specifically it's lightning only, you can deposit with on-chain, lightning only, power by spark. And I had Seth on Citadel Dispatch yesterday and we walked through the whole app. So give that a listen, it was a tight hour. We go through all the trade-offs and how they're thinking about it. The big one is to be clear is signals an interesting trade-off model the app is open source, which is what allowed them to easily fork it. But the actual servers are centralized control by the Signal Foundation, the nonprofit that runs Signal. So there is an edge case where Signal could cut them off. Probably won't happen. Hopefully, hopefully probably won't happen. There's an alternative client called Molly that's been around for for like five years and hasn't been cut off. And part of the plan is, you mentioned that it's led by the cake wallet team. This is a separate company that Seth and Vic are running. And as this company generates profits, they plan on donating it back to Signal to kind of create a virtuous feedback loop that the nonprofit could then benefit from their potential success. but I mean, I love signal, I love Bitcoin, it's pretty cool to see." --- ## Contributing Accounts - `@Gishub_Web3` (https://x.com/Gishub_Web3)
