Time to say the quiet part out loud. @CantonNetwork @CantonFdn [Spoken audio]: Yes, Kanton Guy is back. But before I start, let me apologize a little bit about my voice. It's a little bit hoarse from screaming during that game yesterday. I mean, have you ever seen a comeback like that ever? And no, I'm not a front-runner like Ben Cohen. I have actual family that live in Argentina. And I know what all of you babies are gonna say. Oh, they should have been a foul. They called it back. Well, if you look at the video review rules, you would see in pursuit of a goal a foul can be called back. And I think ripping somebody's jersey down and stepping on somebody's foot constitute as a foul, which no one is really questioning. And no, Salah was not fouled. The ball wasn't even in his possession and he threw himself to the ground. So please, just take this L and sit down. I wanted to make this quick video about some of the lamenting that I've seen in and around Twitter regarding the price action. Now look, when it comes to the Canton-specific issues I'm seeing, I'm not gonna speculate if anyone's selling or not. I'm probably the worst person that you could take a suggestion from, because everyone knows that I am absolutely fanatical. If you guys think that the Canton leadership is sensitive about the token, I can tell you for a fact that I'd probably be 100 times worse. And the reason for that is because participants on this network, including super validators, were rewarded under the pretense of adoption and long term alignment. If you refuse to honor that, then why do you deserve to be rewarded? Now, if I had it my way, I would keep SIP 115 the way it is, but I would propose another SIP from mandatory vesting. Vesting simply means that you get a little bit unlocked in the future, let's say two years from now, and you are permitted to sell at this schedule over this duration of time. I don't see why this is unreasonable. I mean, Venture Capital buys their tokens and they have to vest. Remember, these are rewards, not purchases. I would never suggest controlling a free market. But in business, people show their intent and alignment with their wallet. If they violate it, make them OTC for pennies on the dollar. Burn them, freeze the wallet for all I care. Just get the fuck off the network. We are the ones that created the technology that's going to reinvent the central nervous system of finance. And I can tell you that I've spoken with several projects on the network and we share the exact same feelings. They're already moving in this direction, one of which being Canton Tools. I spoke to Scout a long time ago about shifting away from this low quality social fight garbage and moving on to a protocol engagement based structure where users can still earn rewards if they supply TVL or they lend or they borrow. That is how it should be and that is how you stimulate a network. And just in the next month, there's a ton of things happening. I mean July 13th and 14th, you have the Webex Tokyo Convention, a good place to look for some new alpha to drop. You have the Kansas Strategic Holding Shareholder Meeting where they discuss upcoming strategy and news. And at the end of the month, you have SIP 104 going live to Mainnet, which switches the app rewards to traffic based. Thank God. And of course, at the end of this month, you have the DTCC tokenization coming live. That's the strongest institutional proof point in the history of the blockchain. This is real DTC custodied treasuries coming live on Canton. You have the build on Canton hackathon coming up. So I would honestly chill out and just let the sparks fly. And I'm personally chomping at the bit to show all of you what Minted has built and who we've partnered with. But I cannot do that just yet. But I promise all of you it is coming very soon and it is enormous. So look, it's either you have conviction or you don't. But if you're questioning everything over small moves, I would say that it was never there to begin with. That's all I got for you guys. Sorry about my hoarse voice, but I have a ton of videos coming. I'm back in the saddle again. Until next time, peace." --- ## Contributing Accounts - `@georgelabunsky` (https://x.com/georgelabunsky)
