And yet what people like Bippin are showing is, hey, don't forget it's utility as a solution for some of our energy problems as well as our money problems. That wasn't the vision for Bitcoin when Satoshi created it. But that doesn't mean it's not important in the same way that it's very common that a technology will also get used for something it was not designed for. So for example, solar panels, they weren't designed for rooftops, they were designed for NASA spacecraft that needed a source of power when they were in outer space. And GPUs were not created originally for Nvidia, they were created for the gaming industry but they found this secondary application and similarly these bitcoin mining rigs have found this accidental secondary application which is helping stabilise grids, mitigate methane, monetise wasted stranded energy around the world.
