Turns out most of them are just selling you synthetic exposure, cfds, perps, oracle price tracking. No real shares behind it or dividends, no voting rights and you can't move it off platform. You're betting on a price chart and calling it investing. Binance routes some through real brokers but a lot is derivatives, bybit and okx mostly tokenized or cfds. The marketing says buy tesla but what you get is a contract that tracks tesla's price which is not the same thing. There are platforms actually doing 1:1 backing with real shares at a regulated broker, I did end up trying GM Markets because they have proof of reserves on chain and every token is backed by an actual share." --- ## Contributing Accounts - `@theunipcs` (https://x.com/theunipcs)
