The quiet group worked nearly the full session. The announcers quit early and felt closer to their goal despite doing less. Why? Announcing gives your brain a reward it hasn't earned. The room nods. You feel like you're already that person and the drive to actually become it leaks away. Talking substitutes for Dewey. To be fair, it's a bit nuanced. Real accountability. One person who checks your homework can help. The trap is announcing to an audience that applauds, right? Never sell your Bitcoin applauding like Taylor did and we all applauded back in the day. The lesson though for traders is a public position can become a cage. Think about James Wynn for a second, right? A cage. You stop asking, is this still rights? And you start asking, how do I not look wrong? Keep your opinions loosely held and quietly held. Do the work in silence.
